Program IV · Planets
While Gustav Holst sends us on a journey to five planets of our solar system, Trombone Unit Hannover takes you to stopovers with composers of European music history of the last 500 years. In addition to the well-known greats Mozart and Bruckner, unexpected parallels to Holst's masterpiece The Planets will also be discovered in works by the lesser-known composers Tylman Susato and Kazimierz Serocki.

Program VI · Living on the Edge
A permanent ensemble with eight members spread over every corner of Germany and sometimes beyond means Living on the Edge in a certain sense. A concert programme with Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition, Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet and Handel's Fireworks Music played by eight trombonists is definitely called Living on the Edge.
